Below is a list of the required documents needed to complete this form. You can access them here. Please have all of the following materials ready before submitting.   3. A minimum of 2 bids from general contractors, accessibility renovation specialists, or other qualified vendors (for projects with budgets over $5,000)

Preliminary Questions


Subject to funding availability, Brilliant Corners will defer review of your application until approximately 30 days prior to the date you select.
Please note: If grant funds are no longer available at the time of your application review window, you will receive an email notification from Brilliant Corners informing you that your proposed project can no longer be funded.
Thank you for your understanding.


Organizations with cash reserves over $30 million may still apply. However, they will be required to contribute 50% of the total cost of their accessibility improvement project. Brilliant Corners will invoice the full project cost, verify expenses, and reimburse the grantee for 50%.

Please only provide one address. For any additional facilities a provider wishes to receive funding for, they must submit an additional application. Limit 3 applications per provider.



Organizational Eligibility 


This definition can be found in the Eligibility section in the Request for Application


For Applicants who do not own the property where proposed improvements will be made, grant awards will be contingent upon the submission of a fully executed Owner Participation Agreement. This agreement will be included in the conditional award letter and must be signed by both the property owner and Brilliant Corners prior to the disbursement of any funds. Thank you for your attention to this requirement.

Projects with budgets exceeding $5,000 must receive a minimum of 2 bids from general contractors, accessibility renovation specialists, or other qualified vendors to be considered for grant funding. You may submit your application before receiving a minimum of 2 competitive bids, but Brilliant Corners will not begin reviewing your application until you have sent your bids to IHaccessibility@brilliantcorners.org with the subject line "[Organization Name - Project Bids]"
